Entry into the Burlington Gymnastics Club competitive programs is by tryout only. Tryouts are hosted annually in the spring for selected birth years. Previous recreation gymnastics class experience is highly recommended, as we are looking for gymnasts that demonstrate a natural capability in the areas of flexibility, strength, coordination, listening and aptitude.
Competitive gymnastics is a performance driven discipline that requires weekly scheduled training hours (6-25 hrs. pending level and age) and participation in competitions throughout the season. Training schedules include one weekend time slot and higher level programs may require some training during school hours.
Gymnasts with previous competitive experience interested in joining our club during the competitive season (July-June), are asked to contact the respective Head Coach.
